The rains from Gustav's remants ended late Thursday evening. We received a record rainfall for the date of 2.38 inches. Now we will see dry weather Friday with leftover storm system clouds hanging around this morning before skies begins to clear by midday.
Highs today will reach to near 70 degrees with light northwest winds. A weak system to our west will bring some clouds back in for tonight I'm thinking.
Saturday's weather looks pretty nice with partly to mostly cloudy skies and highs warming into the middle 70's. Our next chance of rain will arrive later on Sunday in the form of a slight chance of showers. Temperatures will stay below average for the next several days.
